Not Your Average Physical Therapy Studio
By Kris Grinovich Minear, L/PTA
FIXXED Studios isn’t your typical PT studio - we don’t do hot packs, stationary bikes or ultrasounds. We don’t pass you off to a rehab aid to supervise your exercises. We don’t do 3 sets of 10 just because a research article recommended it 12 years ago.
So what do we do? We do split stance deadlifts, single leg depth jumps, c-section scar tissue mobilization, overhead landmine presses, pelvic floor trigger point release, dry needling, and dynamic cupping (aka performing specific exercises while wearing cups to promote better biofeedback and muscle engagement, enhance mobility and improve bloodflow!) Your clinician stays with you for the entire hour-long session, and each client receives a customized home exercise program tailored to their specific goals. And we aren’t afraid to set big goals: our clients come to see us not only because they are in pain, but because they want to get back to their prenatal half marathon pace safely, or because they want to continue to play in their adult rec hockey league without risking an injury, or because they are determined to set their next bench press PR.
We pride ourselves in not only helping our clients feel better, but teaching our clients how to move, lift, run, squat, and breathe better, too! Which is why we get our clients up and moving, and not just with therabands and dumbbells. We utilize all the tools in our Wakefield and Haverhill studios - from our full squat rack, TRX, kettlebells, and our newest Ancor cable system- we safely challenge our clients, optimize their performance, and work to reduce their risk of injury through thoughtful and innovative exercise progressions and modifications. We aren’t your typical PT studio - and we’re not ashamed to admit it. If you’re looking to level up your sport, safely return to exercise postpartum, or set new PRs in 2026, then FIXXED is the place for you.
